Re-opened August 28th 2023 under new licensees, this historic inn is situated in a Dales village between Keighley and Skipton with mullioned windows and low beamed ceilings. There is a cosy bar area to the right of the entrance, warmed by a large stove in a huge stone fireplace. The left-hand side of the open plan interior is more functional and there's a small room to the left of the doorway with more tables. Six hand pumps adorn the bar with five regular Taylor's beers plus the occasional special or collaboration. There's a good-sized function room upstairs and it's where the pool table lives. Outside seating at the front of the pub plus there's a nicely appointed secret garden. The pub hosts a Post Office Service every Monday 12-2pm, hot drinks and cakes are available. Although just a short walk from Cononley railway station, if catching a train south allow time to cross the level crossing as the barriers often come down early!
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 5 regular beers.
