Built 1582 this historic pub alleged to have been frequented by King Charles I, is a welcoming watering hole for customers who like a piece of Olde England. The corridors and stairs creak and the ambience is mostly original. A cabinet of five handpulls complements the traditional bar area. Smaller bar has additional three handpulls. In summer bands play regularly in the outside yard. Buskers nights Thursdays and Sundays from 7pm
