After being closed for over two years reopened during September 2017 following extensive and attractive internal and external refurbishment including reverting to the original name. The building has been CADW Grade 2 listed since August 1994 for the special architectural quality that distinguishes the late-Georgian front. A large function / dining area is now available upstairs and the pub is now very much food orientated. To the rear of the premises there is an attractive paved seated / dining area with many raised flower beds with a games room off this rear courtyard area with a dart board and pool table. No real ale served since June 2022 and all four handpumps removed by April 2023.
