This Wetherspoon pub is named after the inventor of Cat's Eyes in the 1930s. The pub is situated at the newly opened Broad Street Plaza which includes a multiplex cinema. There are two distinct areas separated by an open partition. The interior is modern with exposed ceiling pipes and a décor in the style of an American diner. Serves up to 9 cask ales with usually a dark beer and always has Abbott and Ruddles Best Bitter and up to 4 guest ales.
The pub has been sold and it's final day of trading will be 7th January 2024. Expected to reopen with new owners on 15th January 2024.
