In 1790 this stone-built pub was used as Halifax's first post office. It's now situated beside a busy bypass, but remains a friendly place, with a long and comfy lounge. A large room to the rear doubles as a tap room and function room, complete with a pool table.
The opening hours are advertised as 'until close' so please check with them if you intend to arrive in the evening.
This Pub serves 5 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
