Built in 1867, as the vicarage for Much Birch, this substantial hotel has a smartly furnished bar with bare stone walls and part flagstone floor. Out through a small annexe to the restaurant, is a wide expanse of lawn with lovely views. Bar snacks are served, and a la carte menu in the evening. The food is locally provided and home-made and dietary needs are catered for including gluten-free. Drinkers welcome.
