Two bar stone built pub in a tiny village nestling at the bottom of a valley between the A59 and Nidderdale proper. Largely given over to food, and with eight letting rooms, it still has a local following of casual drinkers. Traditionally decorated with white walls, old beams, plates, and brassware. There is a family room behind the lounge bar, and charging for electric vehicles is available in the car park. Three local cask ales are served, including Theakston Old Peculier.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
