This family-owned micropub opened in July 2018, and offers a welcome new choice for local drinkers and rail commuters alike. The pub overlooks the entrance to Hayes station, and is served by numerous bus routes. The pub was joint runner-up in the local branch Pub of the Year competition in both 2019 and 2020.
Up to nine real ales are served, dispensed by gravity from a cold room at the rear of the bar. Ales will normally be sourced from Kent breweries, with an occasional guest providing variety.
The Kentish theme extends to other drinks, including wine and gin, and also to the bar snacks, the range of which will be increased over time.
The distinctive premises, which were once a bank and more recently an accountancy office, are quite large by micropub standards with plenty of seating available.
This Pub serves 9 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
