The painted ceiling in the Bar area depicts scenes from “Kidnapped” by Robert Louis Stevenson and associated with the Burgh of Culross; painted by Douglas Cadoo.

Reported early 2022 to have no real ale and no handpumps, though website still says 'ask for availability', but another report July 2023 said cask was back on with Brew Shed Sandilands Pale Ale on that visit.
