The River Thames is just four min walk from the Rising Sun. Built around 1830 the pub is a big favorite with walkers, ramblers, boating people alike. This traditional village pub comprises one L-shaped room, divided into three distinct areas. At the front, is a small quiet area with a stone floor and wood-burning stove. To the left of this is an area laid out perhaps more for dining. The right hand side of the pub extends to the rear, and has wooden flooring and a log fire in winter. The 3 real ales do change occasionally. Tuesday is quiz night, 8pm.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
