Historic Interest
Opened in 1958 and replaced the nearby old Royal Oak which was then closed and is now a shop. Was known as the Cromwell Hotel for a short time around 1980. Described in 1980 as a large pub with two comfortable lounges and a bar boasting 5 dart boards, serving Whitbread Special Cask Bitter. Taken over by Hardy & Hanson, finally becoming a Greene King pub.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 3 regular beers.
