Fully refurbished former coaching inn. Superb slate fireplace in dining area with roaring fire in colder weather. Food served daily and booking is recommended. This is very much a gastro-pub that serves real ale from the Thwaites range.

Closed 7.8.15 to Nov 2016 and part of 2023 when sold by Jimmy Little & Shaun Gardner. Reopened 13 Ot 2023
