Originally built in 1300's and then known as Nether Hall, a historic oak-beamed Tudor inn (timber framed, rebuilt between 1538 and 1593) with a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. The website is of a slightly earlier vintage, dated but comprehensive. Opening hours are based on those permitted by the licence but may not be entirely as shown. Catering is provided by the specialist Nostalgic Kitchens, which is now running the entire pub (from late Spring 2022).The Admiral PubCo is due to refurbish the exterior.
