The pub was renamed in April 2014, see Historic Interest section, and has a US bar-design feel. Described as a bar, pop-up diner and live music venue and with a youngish target clientele attracted to the "new face of West London cool" including bare bricked walls. Opening hours may be varied on QPR match days; any such changes will be announced via the pub's Facebook page.
As at autumn 2022 it was reported that cask ale is no longer on offer in this venue; updates welcome.
Historic Interest
This unusual pub name refers to a disgruntled Leveller conspirator in the 1650s who was involved in a plot to assassinate Oliver Cromwell near this spot. A combination of incompetence and bad luck led to the unfortunate Sindercombe being caught and sentenced to death for treason. Wisely, he committed suicide the night before his intended hanging, drawing and quartering!
