A thriving community local, which opened in 1978, on the Parkside mini shopping centre. It caters for a diverse range of social groups and activities as it is the only pub on the estate. The pub has one large room with a central bar; there are separate raised areas for quiet dining and entertainment, a pool and darts area with projector for big screen live sports. It has a live rock night on the first Saturday of the month, and an open mic night on Sundays; Thursday is Night Quiz with Card Bingo cash prizes, pool & darts teams Tuesday & Wednesday. Friendly staff and locals.
