A cosy, quite small interior with elegant slender poles. The inn sign derives from the standard of the Yorkist Edward IV. Triple winner of the Evening Standard pub of the year. The model of the sun and rays on the roof was destroyed in a violent storm at the turn of the 20th century. Currently has only a small range of real ales for an M&B Castle pub; the food offering includes Sunday roasts.
