Named after the Scottish mountain hare, this 18th century former drovers' inn is located on the A823 road from Yetts o' Muckhart to Gleneagles, in the peaceful setting of Glendevon, surrounded by the Ochil Hills. Operated by Chloe and Mark from August 2018, the inn has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, with a warming open fire in winter, popular with ramblers, hillwalkers and anglers. Lunches are served in the garden room; soup, snacks and Scottish fayre are available throughout the day in the snug, and dinner in the restaurant.
