Welcoming atmosphere at this reopened free house (10th December 2016) after a total refurbishment, inside and out. The regular beer is Butcombe Original. One of the other two hand-pumps has changing beers from a wide range of brewers (Often Courage Directors). The fourth hand pump usually carries a real cider. Board games available, located in the Pool Room.
Historic Interest
Originally called the Plough Inn, on the turnpike from Nantwich to Congleton via Middlewich. Bought by Robinson's Brewery in 1947. Sold in 2016. Now a free house.
