Originally a fine Victorian pub/hotel, built in 1865 by John Walter III, the grandson of the founder of the Times newspaper. The emphasis is on food, both in the pub and the converted barn. The left-hand bar is set aside with soft furnishings and a few bar stools for relaxed drinking and pre-dinner drinks. Now part of the Old Spot Pub Co.
Under new management (August 2019), a family-friendly community pub that is both relaxed and buzzing! And of course... dog friendly.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
