Quiet, inexpensive, friendly pub, serving a range of very well kept beers (though not 'real ale' by CAMRA criteria) and a short menu of good, substantial and genuinely home made food. The pub serves as a meeting point for many local groups. Adjacent to the railway station and some local cycle paths. Lots of footpaths and bridleways connect Bow Steet to the beach, Aberystwyth and some long distance walking paths.
