Friendly, open-plan community local with live music most weekends. Having been a pub since 1801, formerly in the hands of historic brewers Allsops and then Ansells, it became the Flock and Firkin in the 90's before restoration in 2007.
Four real ales are served including two changing ones from local brewers.
Games night is every Tuesday evening. Live music is very much a feature of the pub with rehearsal evenings on Wednesdays, open mic on Thursdays, bands every Friday and Saturday, and jazz every Sunday afternoon between 4pm and 7pm.
