Accredited for beer quality 2022
Tastefully and conservatively refurbished in late 2018, the Yew Tree's new owners have taken care to retain the timeless atmosphere of this Grade II-listed pub. The traditional, separate, public bar is complemented by a lounge bar which has a cosy feel about it, with its exposed beams, soft furnishings and large stove. A additional dining area has been created to the rear of the pub, which continues the traditional theme.
The Yew Tree welcomes, and is well-patronised by walkers, who find this a convenient stopping-point on the many local Shropshire hills walks.
Traditional pub meals are offered, with roast dinners available on Sundays. Alternatively, good value filled rolls and pork pies are available if you've not got time to fully indulge.
The popular mainstay ales from Wye Valley are supplemented by one or two constantly changing guests, which are often from other local breweries.
As from September 2019 a holiday let is available on the same site, under the same managment.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 2 regular beers.
