Formerly the Burton Ale Stores and the Oranges & Lemons, the pub’s current name is derived from the names of the two meadows nearby, both of which were named after pubs that were at one time in the High Street. There is one room with raised seating areas to one side and the bar to the other. There is a large collection of board games. There are outdoor seating areas to the front and rear, the former on busy St Clement’s Street is less peaceful than the latter.
