bar 13 has a wine bar ambiance, but walking boots are also welcome and it has reputation for its real ales. Created in 2005 from a small hardware store on the main street, it is the nearest pub to the railway station. Popular with locals and tourists alike for its cosy atmosphere, it consists of a single comfortable, long, narrow room with the well-stocked bar half way down against the left-hand wall. Wall screens show music videos or stream the news and some live sport. The beers are usually LocAle, one of the two guest pumps has a hoppy blonde beer such as Wishbone Tiller Pin or Oakham Citra, the other usually has a pale bitter e.g.Moorhouse's Pride of Pendle. Stays open later Sun-Fri if busy but may close early if very quiet, especially Sundays.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
