This classic, food award-winning village pub, perfectly positioned opposite the church, is a 20 minute stroll along narrow country lanes from Chetnole Halt on the Weymouth to Bristol line. Both the separate public bar and lounge are warmed by blazing fires in winter. One can enjoy the extensive good-value menu thanks to friendly staff and an accommodating chef. Food is served on scrubbed pine tables in the lounge where a flagstone floor is featured, or in the wood-floored restaurant which leads off. Filled baps and cream teas served throughout afternoon. There is guest accommodation in three bedrooms.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
