Formerly called just "The Horseshoes", the pub was re-opened in April 2010, after having been transformed by an extensive renovation. The result is a dining led pub with a tasteful modern ambience. There's a large comfortable bar and lounge with easy chairs, together with two dining rooms. It's also pleasing that the refurbishment has created a vibrant local pub, which includes provision for locals' dominoes and darts. The guest beers are usually local. An interesting feature in the bar is the glass floor over the illuminated cellar!
Historic Interest
Over time, has been in the ownership of a brace of local breweries, the Wrekin Brewery of Wellington, together with the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
