Friendly and welcoming local with several comfortable rooms and a restaurant. Wooden floors, beams and some panelled walls. The Old Stables function suite is well used for weddings and events. Behind the main pub is a delightful courtyard surrounded by old outbuildings. At the back is a large field with picnic tables. Set in the heart of Charnwood Forest, there are many walking and cycling routes nearby. Swithland Reservoir, Bradgate Park and the preserved Great Central Railway are also close. Note card payments only.
