Long thin pub with a long thin garden. Pool room at rear, bar area extends to the front window (though the pleasant looking window seat tends to be reserved for the pub dog). However there is a similar seat in the recently refurbished small lounge/snug on the left as you enter the front door. Popular for TV sport, several screens are dotted around the pub.
Historic Interest
For a time the pub was tied to local brewer Soames of Wrexham. Soames later became one of the breweries which amalgamated to form Border Breweries in the 1930s.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
