This old village coaching inn, dating back to the late 17th-century, has retained much of its charm despite extensive renovation over the years. The wood-panelled public bar has a homely feel (note list of tenants going back to 1860 on wall), and the several linked rooms feature low beamed ceilings and assorted breweriana.
Locally renowned for its pub meals, which are available all day. Quiz night alternate Wednesdays. Ramblers and cyclists are welcome.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer (From Marston's list; a 2nd 'guest' is occasionally available.) and 1 regular beer.
