Splendid former coaching inn on a street largely given over to trendy bars and restaurants. Grade II listed, the pub features heavy beams and some exposed timber framing. In 1705 it was the birthplace of the Staffordshire regiment. Monday sees cask ale at bargain prices. Food is expected to feature from April 2023.
