Reopened as gatropub June 2017
After a full refurbishment the pub re-opened in June 2017 as a gastropub. It has recently changed hands but is still a Michelin quality restaurant, but the bar area is open to all. A true Adam Handling restaurant in style, the menu showcases the best of British produce with a huge emphasis on sustainable practices, featuring ingredients from its own vegetable gardens and orchard. Co-Chef Proprietors, Steven and Jonny, have both worked for Adam for over 10 years. The Loch & The Tyne is their opportunity to showcase the skills that they have learnt along the way, as well as to develop their own creativity. The galleried front offers wonderful views over the Berkshire countryside. The name derives from a 17th century regiment of horse guards.
