Formerly known as The Royal George, the Ship Inn was first built in 1770 for a local river bargeman. Situated on the banks of the river Severn the location is superb for fishing, walking, bird watching and is within walking distance of Highley station on the Severn Valley Railway (steep but well maintained path).
It offers real ales, dining and accommodation. The large front terrace area (due for extensive refurbishment following a recent fire) has views over the River Severn whilst enjoying real ales or having a meal from the extensive menu.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 2 regular beers.
