Historic Interest
Recorded in 1832 as the Ferry House, the landlord was one Thomas Marriott, who was also listed as both a miller and a maltster (White).
In 1855, the pub was known as the Unicorn Ferry House, fully licensed premises under S. Marriott and in 1876, the publican was Robert Thomas (Post Office Directories).
