This award-winning (Southern Hampshire CAMRA 'Pub of the Year' 2011) and highly popular pub has been run by the same landlord since 2003 and serves four locally-brewed beers directly from the casks behind the bar. The home-cooked food is served at lunchtimes. Saturday evening visitors often find live blues, jazz or folk music being played. The pub holds an annual beer festival over the late spring bank holiday weekend (Whitsun). In the garden there is a smoking shelter; in summer, time can be whiled away on at one the many picnic tables enjoying the floral displays and excellent real ale. Cider served is Weston's Rosie's Pig and Old Rosie.
