Built in 1708, this thatched grade II-listed public house sits in the heart of the town and offers up to six real ales and ten craft beers. The interior is open plan, but there are two defined areas, at one end is a large TV and at the other a large open fire. Good quality pub food at reasonable prices is available. There is a secure beer garden at the rear, formerly their car park. Live music features occasionally.
