This 16th-century Grade II-listed stone building is a genuine old-fashioned public house at the heart of the community, and had a major renovation in spring 2022. With wooden beams throughout, the public bar features stone flooring and an open fire, while the lounge is used as a restaurant. Four cask beers are available, as well as a selection of keg beers. Excellent home-prepared food is served throughout and there is a small but pretty garden. Vale of Glamorgan beers frequently appear as licensee also owns the brewery.
