Very small, cosy pub with a panelled interior, slightly scuffed but a pleasant friendly place. The main part is quite traditional with bench seating and mostly bare boards. Oddly shaped, there are a few little nooks and crannies, and a couple of fireplaces, one of which houses a log burner. The back of the room is carpeted with a few tables and chairs and low stools, and in the middle some high stools up against side drinking shelves above which there are some framed Knaresborough prints. Up to three real ales are served, mostly from local breweries, but sometimes from further afield.
