Formerly the Dower House Hotel and Spa, the hotel was purchased by the Inn Collection Group in 2021 and subsequently it closed for major renovation. Re-opened September 2023 as The Knaresborough Inn, newly refurbished and the bar area enlarged, and now serving real ale. There is an outside seating area in attractive gardens at the front of the hotel.
