Opposite Knaresborough's Grade II listed railway station and signal box this Market Town Taverns pub offers a modern split-level bar with wooden flooring throughout. A mix of pictures adorn the walls including some contemporary photographs of local scenes such as the station and viaduct. There is also a side room mostly used for dining, a function room in the basement and a sunny terrace at the back with views of the local church. Handpumps on the lower bar dispense real ales, mainly local but some from further afield. Accommodation is available in four en-suite rooms. Well-behaved dogs and children are welcome.
NB. Pricing information for cask ales is contained within a small notice on the bar top. As prices can vary considerably, you are advised to check prices before ordering.
